The interiors by Story St Studio set the register — grasscloth, fig-print shades, ochre linens, pattern given room to run. The art program was built in conversation with those choices: works selected to answer the interiors in color and surface, not to stand apart from them.
Each room lets one element lead. The works pick it up — sometimes in hue, sometimes in line, sometimes in the quiet of handmade paper. Two practices, one register.
